My son's Hyundai Elantra took on water during the recent rainstorm/floods and stalled it out. We Google searched for a local mechanic and this shop came up. I called Mario and he quickly responded and was able to tow the car to his shop. After working with the insurance company, Mario was able to diagnose and order a new engine for replacement. Once the engine arrived and the insurance check cleared, he and his team quickly installed the engine and had the car running within a couple of days. He kept us informed of the process and let us know as soon as the car was ready. No issues to report with the engine since the replacement. I highly recommend Mario and his shop for any of your car repairs. He's honest and makes sure your vehicle is taken care of as if it's his own. Thanks Mario and everyone at Alternative Automotive Solutions for getting the car back up and running as soon as you possibly could. I will definitely go to your shop again if I experience any car related issues in the future.

Took my vehicle in for electrical issues. The owner kept me informed throughout the process. No under handing going on at his shop. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend if you need an auto mechanic.

The mechanic was very kind and extremely patient. He took the time to explain everything to me and even gave me advice, instead of just recommending a service. He could have simply suggested doing the repair, but instead he offered a more affordable alternative. I’m really grateful for his help and for how kind he was.

UPDATE (05/06/25): Here is my most recent review, since I can’t add another review I am revising this previous one I had posted. Where to even begin, Mario has been nothing but truly professional along side with his wife and son. I have a 2019 Landrover discovery sport 2.0L that needed an alternator replaced I had all the parts already, I called another mechanic that was cool but. Could not do the work because of how intense it would be complicated in other words. I called another shop that was referred to me only to never get a call back, called another shop that wanted way way more than I could afford. I was giving up hope and as I’m looking to see who eles I can reach out to, I see this company and I gave Mario a late night text due to me working and right away he replied back and as busy as he was he still found time for me to come in. I ended up coming Monday (5/5/25) a day early to drop off car since I knew it wouldn’t be worked on until Tuesday as we agreed and I had to work today Tuesday not expecting to pick it up until Wednesday or at the end of the week. Mario at Alternative Auto Solutions was awesome. We broke down on a Sunday and needed a new alternator. He is appointment-only on Sundays but fit us into his schedule. We couldn’t find another auto shop open in the area and honestly, wouldn’t have wanted to. He was great to work with. We were back on the road same day.
